Research Involvement

The UBC Division of Respiratory Medicine is internationally recognized for research excellence across four CIHR pillars, from discovery science to population health. Principal investigators have secured approximately $10 million in competitive grant funding for lung-related research. Research areas include airways disease, cystic fibrosis/bronchiectasis, interstitial lung disease, interventional research, lung cancer, nontuberculous mycobacterial/tuberculosis, occupational/environmental lung disease, pulmonary hypertension, sleep disorders, and lung transplant.
