Patient Age Range:19 and up; youth at risk also served through networking with Indigenous local communities and School Districts.
Patient Profile:Individuals aged 19 and up struggling with addictions, particularly First Nations, Metis, and Inuit persons, seeking culturally appropriate residential treatment.
Patient Instructions
  1. 1Attend a minimum of four (4) counselling sessions with an addictions or mental health counsellor in their local community prior to the program intake.
  2. 2Be stepped down and completely free of alcohol and/or drugs including codeine for fourteen (14) days prior to admission.
  3. 3If on probation, bail or parole, provide a letter from the Probation/Bail/Parole Officer stating conditions and expected reporting requirements.
  4. 4Have a complete physical/medical exam and TB test prior to admission.
