  4. 4For ear flushes: GP must see ears prior to booking with the nurse. Put 2-3 drops of oil (mineral oil, olive oil, earol, etc) into the ear(s) every night 3-5 days prior to appointment. Use a cotton ball with oil or vaseline to keep oil in.
