  11. 11Stop any iron supplements one week before colonoscopy.
  12. 12Follow bowel preparation instructions from your physician for colonoscopy.
  13. 13For gastroscopy, do not eat after midnight if morning test, or light, low-fat snack up to six hours before if afternoon test.
  14. 14For gastroscopy, clear fluids up to two hours before procedure, do not drink milk.
