Referral Process: Referrals for specialty care and/or services are submitted by the provider. Efforts are made to provide specialty care at Naval Hospital Bremerton or Madigan Army Medical Center. If services are not available at a Military Treatment Facility, care will be deferred to a civilian network provider.
How to Refer: Providers submit referrals. Patients are instructed to call PSMAC after two working days to schedule an appointment or check referral status. If referred to a TRICARE provider in the community, patients can check authorization status online.
