Edmonton Opioid & Enhanced Addiction Referral Information

Referral Process: Professional-referral. Patients with severe and/or treatment refractory addiction presentations requiring assessment and treatment initiation from an addiction medicine specialist. Patients should not require inpatient medical detoxification. No continued counseling/therapy is provided. Patients must have a lead service provider (e.g., Family Physician, AMH clinician) who will provide care following conclusion of Enhanced Addiction Clinic service. This program is complementary to existing, established treatment providers.
How to Refer: Complete the referral form (on Alberta Referral Directory) and fax it.
