  • For Cardiac Calcium Scoring, no smoking prior to scan, no stimulants, caffeine, chocolate or decaf coffee prior to your exam.
  • For CT Angiography, if allergic to IV contrast, you will need to be pre-medicated prior to the exam.
  • For CT Angiography, if you have kidney problems or diabetes, a blood test will be run prior to the scan.
  • For CT Enterography, you may need to fast or drink water depending on the exam.
