  2. 2For follow-up contact lens appointments, wear the trial contact lenses.
  3. 3Always wash hands before handling contact lenses.
  4. 4Use alcohol-free hand sanitizer when soap and water are not available.
  5. 5Never sleep in contact lenses.
  6. 6Take contact lenses out when swimming.
  7. 7Never wear contact lenses when eyes are red, irritated, or infected.
  8. 8For reusable lenses, always use fresh solution, rub lenses with solution to clean them, and replace contact lens case every 3 months.
  9. 9New contact lens wearers should gradually increase wear time, starting with two hours on day one and increasing by 1-2 hours per day.
