  3. 3Continue to take any prescribed medications as normal, unless otherwise advised by your doctor.
  4. 4Arrive 10 minutes before your test/appointment to register at the reception desk.
  5. 5For ECG: Technician may shave areas of skin (male patients) to help electrodes stick.
  6. 6For Holter Monitoring: Sign a responsibility form to return the device on time and in working condition.
  7. 7For Holter Monitoring: Shower before being equipped as you cannot shower while wearing the device.
  8. 8For Exercise Stress Testing: Wear comfortable clothes and running shoes.
  9. 9For Cardiac Consultation: Bring all prescription medications for review.
  10. 10For Nuclear Stress Test: Be off beta-blockers and calcium-channel blockers only on referring physician's recommendation.
  11. 11For Nuclear Stress Test: Avoid caffeine-containing beverages at least 24 hours before the test.
  12. 12For Nuclear Stress Test: Bring a list of medications with dosage and frequency.
  13. 13For Nuclear Stress Test: No lotions on chest area and no smoking 1 hour prior to testing.
  14. 14For Nuclear Stress Test: Bring a snack to eat after radio-pharmaceutical injection.
