1. 1Arrive at least fifteen (15) minutes before your appointment.
2. 2For endoscopy, ensure adequate preparation; inadequate preparation may result in full charge and no refund.
3. 3For endoscopy, bring a complete and updated list of medications from your pharmacist.
4. 4For endoscopy, leave jewelry and valuables at home.
5. 5For endoscopy, you must be accompanied for your return home and for the first 24 hours after the exam.
6. 6For endoscopy, do not drive, use dangerous tools, make important decisions, or sign documents for 24 hours after the exam.
7. 7For endoscopy, do not take medications that cause drowsiness for 24 hours after the exam.
8. 8For coloscopies, follow a special diet for 3 days before the exam (no whole grains, dairy, fruits, vegetables, legumes, nuts, seeds, chips, popcorn, coconut, jams, sauces).

10. 10For coloscopies, take Colyte/Peglyte and Dulcolax as instructed.
11. 11For gastroscopies, fast for at least 8 hours before the exam (no food, water, gum, hard candies).
12. 12For gastroscopies, consult your doctor or pharmacist about stopping blood thinners or diabetes medications before the exam.
13. 13For gastroscopies, avoid anti-inflammatory drugs and natural products unless advised by a doctor.
14. 14For gastroscopies, reduce alcohol and tobacco consumption before the exam.
15. 15For gastroscopies, you must be accompanied by an adult for departure and cannot drive or use public transport.
16. 16For gastroscopies, wait about 1 hour before drinking or eating after the exam, starting with small sips of water.
