  9. 9Renew prescriptions during your visit with your physician to avoid fees.
  10. 10Narcotic prescription refills require a doctor's appointment.
  11. 11Discuss the policy of refills for narcotic prescriptions with your physician.
  12. 12All renewals of controlled substances will be done by appointment ONLY.
  13. 13Be aware of charges for uninsured services.
  14. 14Communicate directly with your primary care provider regarding any concerns.
  15. 15Wait at least 4 weeks before phoning to check on the status of a referral unless urgent.
  16. 16Maintain a positive atmosphere; abusive or aggressive behavior towards staff or physicians will lead to immediate dismissal.
