Referral Process: Referrals for CHEO mental health services can be made through 1Call1Click.ca for most services. For Behavioral Neurosciences and Consultation Liaison, a referral from a CHEO physician is required. For BRiDGES Project, referrals are accepted from CHEO's Emergency Department, Mental Health Urgent Care, or Inpatient Mental Health Unit. For Transitional Age Youth program, youth providers can initiate a referral.
How to Refer: For most mental health services, connect, request information, and book referrals through 1Call1Click.ca. For Transitional Age Youth, contact Steve Dumouchel by phone or fax a referral form. For Behavioral Neurosciences and Consultation Liaison, referrals should be addressed to Centralized Mental Health Intake.
Urgency Levels: Urgent care clinic provides assessment and consultation for urgent mental health needs such as suicidal behaviour or abrupt decrease in mood/functioning, with priority based on urgency/severity.
