If that treatment doesn’t work or if the person is severely ill, they may be referred to The Royal. The Royal reviews each referral to confirm it has been sent to the right place and that they can help (triage).
How to Refer: Your doctor or nurse practitioner may refer you to a specific program at The Royal based on your diagnosis. For Substance Use and Concurrent Disorders program, self-referrals are accepted by calling +1 (613) 722-6521 ext. 6508 or visiting the Rapid Access Addiction Medicine (RAAM) clinic.
