  1. 1Arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your appointment time
  2. 2Bring loose shorts or wear a skirt
  3. 3Eat breakfast/lunch before your visit
  4. 4Avoid lotion on your legs or shaving within 24 hours of appointment
  5. 5Bring your OHIP card and list of any medications you take
  6. 6Walk for 15-20 minutes after the treatment is recommended
  7. 7Wear compression stockings as advised
  8. 8Avoid strenuous high impact activities like running, jogging or hockey, soccer
  9. 9Avoid lifting heavy weights with your legs, or vigorous lunges or squats
  10. 10Avoid hot tubs, saunas and hot yoga
  11. 11Avoid long distance air travel (flights over 5 hours) for 2 weeks following sclerotherapy treatment
