Patient Profile:Individuals and families from Asian and other communities in the Greater Toronto Area seeking culturally competent mental health services.
Patient Instructions
  1. 1Notify the case manager and/or mental health worker of the illness and stay home and/or delay and re-schedule appointment(s) until symptoms of illness is gone.
  2. 2Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when coughing or sneezing or into the crook of your arm.
  3. 3Clean your hands with alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
  4. 4Clean your hands before you touch or eat food, after sneezing, and after you use the washroom.
  5. 5Keep immunizations up to date.
  6. 6Get the Flu Shot!
  7. 7Clean your hands frequently with 70% alcohol- based hand sanitizers or warm soap and water (if visibly soiled).
  8. 8During the pandemic, clients are required to wear a face covering or mask that covers their nose and mouth when entering the office and during their appointment or program time.

Referral Process: Hong Fook partners with a group of bicultural psychiatrists to facilitate access to psychiatric assessment, treatment, injection services, case management and related supportive services. A Registered Nurse from Hong Fook provides injection services and nursing consultations to Asian Clinic clients at delegation of the psychiatrists.
