Patient Messaging FAQ

You will actually need to manage less communication from patients with Cortico. You have control of when patients may message you. Patients can only reply when the provider explicitly wants a reply. And, patient initiated messages are subject to automation. If you enable the latter, patients are prompted to determine if their inquiry can be automated (about 80% can), avoiding the need for a message altogether. For example a patient may be reaching out to cancel an appointment or update contact info, and in that case Cortico can normally do that for them and avoid any staff interaction since it’s supported in-platform.
