  • Call 30 minutes before clinic opening to book a same-day appointment for the Same Day Clinic.
  • Bring health card and medication list to appointments.
  • If you are a Canadian resident with a valid provincial or territorial health card (except Quebec), most services are covered.
  • Quebec residents, out of country residents, or those without a valid health card will have to pay for services.
  • If you have vaccination records, please bring them with you.
  • For B12 and depo-provera injections, the patient must supply medication.
How to Book:

Call to book appointments. For Same Day Clinic, call 30 minutes prior to opening. For Primary Care, call the clinic directly. For THRIVE Mental Health Service, call after 2:00 p.m. on Tuesdays.

Referral Process: Referrals are required for WCB of NS Enhanced Physician Services, Psychiatry, and Primary Care (taken from Need a Family Doctor registry).
How to Refer: For WCB of NS, appointments are made by referral only with your WCB liaison. For Psychiatry, appointments are by referral only through your Primary Care provider. For Primary Care, new patients are taken from the Need a Family Doctor registry.
