Patient and Visitor Experience for Comox Valley Orthopaedics

Best Fit Patients:Patients requiring elective or trauma orthopedic surgery, including hip, knee, shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, ankle, foot, and fracture/trauma care.
Patient Instructions:
  • For Hip & Knee clinic patients attempting to arrange follow up directly with Dr. Robb for injections or otherwise, DO NOT call the CV Ortho office and instead contact the Comox Valley Hospital Hip & Knee clinic directly at (250) 331-5900 ext. 65179.
  • If you have pending dental work (tooth extractions, crowns, route canals, etc.), it is generally best to have them completed at minimum 6 weeks prior to your joint replacement, or wait at least 12 weeks after surgery is completed.
  • To obtain a consultation with a surgeon or sports medicine physician from the group, please have your family physician send a referral to the office.
  • If you need notes or forms signed for work, please drop off or fax all forms to the office (250-941-0082). Do not bring the forms to the fracture clinic. Allow up to one week for completion. There is a charge for all forms completed.
