Patient Instructions:

Wear a mask if exhibiting respiratory issues, fever, cough, or rash.
Call 226-549-4004 ext. 236 to check walk-in clinic hours.
Services are first come, first served; no appointments.
Last patient registration is approximately 30 minutes prior to closing, but may be shortened due to high volumes.
Be prepared for lengthy waits.
Bring only your most urgent issue to the doctor's attention for acute/urgent care.
Go to the nearest hospital emergency room for chest pain, medical procedures (sutures/staples, possible fracture/broken bones), or medical emergencies.
If experiencing cold or flu symptoms, wear a mask; ask reception for one if needed.
See your family physician whenever possible.
Medical services not appropriate for walk-in clinic setting (pre-op exams, complete physical exam, pap smears, well-baby, vaccinations, follow-up regarding diagnostic imaging or lab work) will be assessed on an individual basis where there is no primary care physician.
Complex forms cannot be completed by walk-in clinic physicians (exception: WSIB forms related to the visit).
Second opinions on established health problems will not be provided.
Narcotic and/or controlled medications will NOT be prescribed.
Prescription renewals will only be for 1 month.
Emergent mental health crises will be triaged to an appropriate emergency department.
Injections are at the discretion of the attending physician; allergy injections will NOT be administered.
For injections, original pharmacy packing or dosage information from the prescriber MUST be provided.
Fees apply for some services (invalid health card, sick/return to work/school note, driver's medicals, some injections); ask staff if unsure.
Patients and staff are expected to be mutually respectful.
Aggressive or disruptive patients may be asked to leave or forcibly removed, potentially resulting in denial of future clinic use.
