Patient Instructions:
  • Please arrive at the appointment time given, unless specific instructions are provided.
  • For MRI, you will be called and asked a series of questions pertaining to your past medical history and surgeries for safety screening.
  • For CT, arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time to fill out a questionnaire.
  • For Supportive Living, bring your own curtains, curtain rods, bath mats and apartment size pans for the stove.
  • For Supportive Living, all personal belongings such as clothing, toiletries, dentures, glasses and hearing aids should be labelled.
  • For Supportive Living, residents will be required to quarantine upon move in for a set period of time depending on their vaccination status (max two weeks).
  • For Supportive Living, bring furniture suitable for the space to avoid clutter.
  • For Supportive Living, do not bring valuables; the Home cannot be responsible for money or valuables not placed in safekeeping.
  • For Supportive Living, use the main entrance of the Hospital upon entering or exiting the facility.
  • For Supportive Living, electrical appliances/items such as fridges, electric fireplaces, toasters, or coffee makers are not allowed in residents' rooms.
  • For Supportive Living, fans must be cleared by the Maintenance Department.
  • For Supportive Living, extension cords and octopus electrical cords are not allowed; power bars are an acceptable alternative.
  • For Supportive Living, scatter mats and rugs are prohibited for use in the Home.
  • Anyone entering the building is required to complete Covid-19 screening by staff and wear a provided medical grade mask.
  • Everyone must practice social distancing and wherever possible keep six-feet between themselves and others.

Chemotherapy services are provided through a satellite clinic affiliated with the Regional Cancer program in Kingston; patients receive initial diagnosis and treatment in Kingston and if they meet certain criteria and wish to receive chemotherapy in Napanee, an appointment can be booked by Kingston Health Sciences Centre (KHSC).
How to Refer: For MRI, BMD, and CT, referrals are sent from the Primary Care Provider to the Diagnostic Imaging Department. For chemotherapy, KHSC books appointments for eligible patients.
