  • Transportation service is only available for residents of the RM of DeSalaberry aged 55+.
  • Clients using personal vehicle transportation are responsible for paying mileage to the driver at $0.50/km, driver fees at $5.00/hr, any parking fees, and a meal for the driver if the trip is longer than 4 hours during mealtimes.
  • Handi-van reservations should be done at least 48 hours in advance by calling Sherisse at 204-347-5652 or emailing servicestoseniors@rmdesalaberry.mb.ca.
  • Handi-van invoices can be paid in person at the Village de St. Pierre during regular office hours or mailed to St. Pierre / De Salaberry Handi-Transit Inc. P.O. Box 218 St. Pierre-Jolys, MB R0A 1V0.
  • If providing their own driver for the mini-handivan, proof of a valid class 5 driver’s licence is mandatory and needs to be on file prior to the van going out.
  • Alcohol is prohibited in the mini-handivan.
