• All First-Time Patients Require a Consultation
• Avoid Sun Exposure for 5-7 days before RF Microneedling treatment. Protect skin with SPF 30+ mineral sunscreen daily.
• Pause certain skincare products (retinoids, AHAs/BHAs, benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, strong exfoliants) for 5 days before RF Microneedling appointment.
• Hydrate skin by drinking plenty of water and moisturizing regularly for RF Microneedling.
• Skip blood thinners (aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil) for 5-7 days before RF Microneedling session (unless prescribed).
• Avoid alcohol & caffeine for 24 hours before RF Microneedling appointment.
• Shave (if needed) the night before RF Microneedling for areas with facial hair. No waxing, threading, or depilatory creams.
• Avoid other skin treatments (chemical peels, lasers, strong facials) for at least 2 weeks before RF Microneedling appointment.
• Arrive with clean skin (no makeup, lotions, or oils) for RF Microneedling.
• Inform clinic if you get cold sores for RF Microneedling; an antiviral prescription may be needed. Cannot treat areas with active or healing cold sores.
• Accutane must be stopped for 6-12 months before RF Microneedling treatment (consult doctor).
• Shave the area 24 hours before Laser Hair Removal visit. No waxing, tweezing, or sugaring for 3-4 weeks before or during treatments.
• Avoid sun exposure for 2-4 weeks before and after Laser Hair Removal. Use broad-spectrum mineral SPF if needed.
• Pause retinol/Retin A for 3-5 days before and after Laser Hair Removal treatment.
• Inform clinic if you have a history of hyperpigmentation for Laser Hair Removal; a lightening cream may be needed beforehand.
• For Melasma, a pigment regulator is required 2-4 weeks before facial treatments.
• Accutane must be stopped for 6-12 months before Laser Hair Removal treatment (check with doctor).
• Photosensitive meds (e.g., antibiotics) should be avoided during Laser Hair Removal treatments.
• If prone to cold sores, ask doctor about anti-viral medication before Laser Hair Removal. Cannot treat areas with active breakouts.
• Shave the area within 24 hours if needed for Tattoo Removal.
• Inform clinic if you have a history of hyperpigmentation for Tattoo Removal; a lightening cream may be needed beforehand.
• Stop Accutane for 6 to 12 months before Tattoo Removal treatment (check with doctor).
• Avoid sun exposure, tanning, and self-tanners for 2-4 weeks before and 1 week after Tattoo Removal. Use SPF 50 sunscreen daily if the area gets sun.
