Westside Family Health

• Communications to and from our office should be sent via the "Ocean" secure messaging platform.
• Ensure your email address on file is up to date, and check that noreply@westsidefamilyhealth.ca and securemessage@westsidefamilyhealth.ca are not going to spam.
• Please call reception if you require an after-hours appointment.
• Rostered patients are expected to use our after-hours services instead of walk-in clinics.
• If you are not an enrolled/rostered patient of Westside Family Health Centre, you can call Telehealth Ontario at 1-866-797-0000 or 811 to speak with a nurse.
• If you miss more than one appointment (in a one year period), you will be charged a $35.00 fee.
• If you arrive late, you may be asked to reschedule the appointment to a different time or date.
• Please phone if you need an urgent appointment, and use our online system to book routine visits.
• Please plan ahead for when you run out of medications. Prescriptions will be renewed within 5 business days.
• Ask your pharmacy to send us a request for renewing chronic medications.
• If you shout, swear, use abusive language, or otherwise harass any person in our office you will be asked to leave immediately.

Patients can book appointments online using the Ocean system for routine visits, or by phone for urgent appointments.
