Patient Instructions:
  • Call and schedule an appointment prior to visiting.
  • If you do not have an appointment, wait in your vehicle and call the office.
  • Only patients with an appointment are allowed to enter the clinic.
  • Rides can wait in their vehicles if possible.
  • Everyone entering the building MUST wear a mask or face covering.
  • No food or beverage is allowed inside the clinic.
  • Restrooms are for patient use only.
  • If experiencing COUGH, FEVER, DIFFICULTY BREATHING, or in contact with others experiencing those symptoms, return to your vehicle and call the clinic.
  • Upon entering, sanitize hands with sanitizer at the front desk and practice social distancing.
  • For colonoscopy, fast the day before and be on an all clear fluids diet.
  • Do not eat any solid food the day before colonoscopy.
  • Allowed drinks for colonoscopy prep: chicken/beef/vegetable broth, Jello, Gatorade, tea & coffee (no dairy, avoid red/green colors).
  • If prep causes nausea, try chilling and drinking with a straw, eating freezes/popsicles (yellow/orange only), or taking Gravol (if no allergies).
  • You cannot take a bus home alone after a procedure; a responsible adult must accompany you if taking a taxi.
  • Expect to be at the clinic approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.
  • If changing or canceling an appointment, 5 business days notice is required or a $100 cancellation fee will apply.
  • Arrive at the clinic 30 minutes before your scheduled appointment for a procedure.
  • Bring a valid health card.
  • Bring completed questionnaires (yellow & pink sheets).
  • You will remain in the recovery room for 30 minutes or longer after the procedure.
  • You may feel bloated and experience some abdominal pain or discomfort after the procedure.
  • You will be able to resume your normal diet after the procedure unless instructed otherwise.
