  1. 1Call to schedule an appointment for you and your baby within 1 week of returning home from the hospital.
  2. 2Give advance notice if you need to cancel or change an appointment.
  3. 3For suspected water breaking or contractions, go to the Maternity Ward at Abbotsford Regional Hospital (4th floor).
  4. 4For daytime emergencies, call the office.
  5. 5For after-hours emergencies (less than 20 weeks pregnant), go to your nearest emergency room.
  6. 6For after-hours emergencies (over 20 weeks pregnant), call the Triage Nurse on the Maternity Ward at Abbotsford Regional Hospital (604-851-4814).
  7. 7If baby isn't moving normally (less than 6 movements in 2 hours after 26 weeks), go to the maternity unit at Abbotsford Hospital, 4th floor, for an assessment.
