Patient Instructions
  1. 1Arrange for a responsible adult to accompany you to and from your scheduled procedure.
  2. 2Do not drive or operate heavy machinery for at least 24 hours after your endoscopy procedure.
  3. 3Have someone stay with you for at least 12 hours post procedure.
  4. 4Do not chew gum or eat candy prior to your procedure.
  5. 5Do not consume any alcohol or partake in any recreational drug use for at least 24 hours prior to the procedure.
  6. 6Remove all jewelry, and make-up before arriving for your appointment.
  7. 7Leave all valuables at home.
  8. 8Bring your health card with you to your appointment.
  9. 9Complete an intake form to register.
  10. 10Present a valid OHIP card on all medical visits.
