  1. 1Please read: We are currently accepting referrals for all ages. We make every effort to call all new referrals within 24-36hrs of receiving your information (Mon-Fri). If you have not received a call or email from us within 24hrs (Mon-Fri), please call 902.444.1160 and leave a brief voicemail (Mailbox #1) with your name, number, and email address to ensure we have your information. Please do not wait to call and verify we have your information if we haven’t called you. If you have not heard from us within 24hrs (Mon-Fri) it means we never received your information (if possible, please use Google Chrome as your web browser when submitting a referral via this form).
  2. 2Payment for each session is processed online using our practice management software ("Jane.app").
  3. 3Credit card information is stored online using our practice management software (JANE). Anyone can add payment information to their account (especially helpful for parents paying for an adolescent or young adult appointment).
  4. 4Sessions cannot be booked without a valid credit card on file.
  5. 5Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours (two business days) notice will be charged 50% of the session rate. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours of notice or “no-show” appointments will be charged the full session fee.
  6. 6If you are feeling unwell or cancelling due to weather related concerns, please consider switching to an online/telehealth appointment or phone call appointment to avoid cancellation charges.
  7. 7Receipts issued for missed appointments will always state “Missed Appointment.”
  8. 8Appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled by using our online scheduling system (see links in emailed appointment reminders), by contacting (902) 444-1160 and leaving a voicemail for your specific psychologist, or by directly emailing the psychologist you are scheduled with.
  9. 9Multiple cancelled initial appointments (first appointments) will result in you being referred to another practice.
  10. 10For Monday appointments, cancellation is required before the scheduled time on the prior Thursday. For Tuesday appointments, cancellation is required prior to the scheduled appointment time on Friday.
  11. 11If you are an adult requesting receipts on behalf of your teen/adolescent child, please note we require their signed permission/consent to share any information with you - this includes billing information/receipts due to privacy and confidentiality reasons. Please have them ask their provider directly for this information if needed.
