Instructions
- For most MRI exams, preparation is minimal; you may be asked not to eat or drink before the exam depending on the body area.
- For pelvic or OB ultrasound, female patients should drink four 8 oz. glasses of water one hour prior to the examination and should not urinate.
- For abdomen and kidneys ultrasound, do not eat or drink anything after midnight the night before your exam.
