Instructions

  1. Try to avoid caffeine (coffee, tea, soda and chocolate) at least one week before your mammogram appointment.
  2. If you had your last mammogram at another facility, ask them to mail copies of your exams to the HSHS location you scheduled for your mammogram or bring them with you.
  3. Take Tylenol or Ibuprofen (Advil, Aleve, etc.) about one hour prior to your scheduled mammogram appointment time unless restricted by your physician.
