Dr. Fortuna's clinical research focuses on innovative approaches to trauma care, including the management of blunt traumatic aortic dissection and the use of Resuscitative Endovascular Balloon Occlusion of the Aorta (REBOA). Dr. Franz has participated in over 15 medical trials and his work has been published in multiple journals.
