Kingston Health Science Center (KHSC)
The Division of Hematology Trust Fund supports research. The Department of Medicine has various research teams including Archer's Lab, Arthritis Centre, Asthma Research Unit, Cardiovascular Imaging Network at Queen's (CINQ), Environmental Exposure Unit (EEU), Gastrointestinal Diseases Research Unit (GIDRU), Global Health, Queen's Cardio Pulmonary Unit (QCPU), Respiratory Investigation Unit (RIU), and Sleep Research Group. QCPU is an 8 million dollar research facility focused on Bench-to-Bedside philosophy with emphasis on heart, lung, blood and vascular diseases. RIU conducts clinical respiratory physiology research.
