Research Involvement

The College of Medicine was awarded over $100 million in external research funding in Fiscal Year 2025. Researchers are involved in cancer, cardiovascular disease, muscle and bone health, infectious disease, mental health illnesses and biomedical informatics. The UAMS Translational Research Institute and Arkansas INBRE accelerate research.

Parking Information

Visitor parking is $1.00 for the first hour, with $1.00 for each additional hour up to a maximum of $7.00 a day. There is no charge for the first 30 minutes. A weekly pass is available for $10.
