Research at UCLA Health Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center has led or contributed to 25 FDA approvals of new cancer treatments and protocols. Faculty member developed tissue-matching test that made organ transplants possible. UCLA physicians reported, described first cases of AIDS. UCLA researchers pioneered brain mapping.
