They established the first cancer-care center west of the Mississippi and have over 90 years of radiation research. They led the international trial of the first immunotherapy to be approved for patients with melanoma, as well as the first successful gene-engineered T-cell therapy for metastatic pancreatic cancer. Patients have the opportunity to participate in – or benefit from – the 1,300 new clinical trials that begin each year.
