Patient Instructions
  1. 1Bring all Insurance Documents and photo ID.
  2. 2For surgical appointments, do not drive to or from the clinic; do not eat or drink for 5 hours prior to appointment; bring a maxi pad/sanitary napkin; bring slippers or socks.
  3. 3For surgical appointments, wear a dress or nightgown that extends below the knee.
  4. 4If you have an IUD, inform the clinic.
  5. 5For medical abortions, plan for privacy and rest after taking the second medication; have someone nearby for support; stock up on maxi pads, food, books/movies; have a heating pad; have pain medication (avoid aspirin).
  6. 6Bring photo identification, provincial health card, a maxi pad sanitary napkin, a long nightshirt or gown that falls to at least your knees and a warm pair of socks or slippers.
  7. 7Bring any supplementary insurance cards.
