Instructions
- For most exams, no special preparation is needed. For specialized exams like MR enterography, specific preparation such as drinking contrast media may be required.
- If scheduled for an MRI arthrogram, an injection from a radiologist will be received just prior to the MRI.
- Inform technologists and referring physician if you have worked with metal in the past, as an x-ray may be needed to check for fragments.
