  1. The entrance to the Emergency Department at Vancouver General Hospital is located at the corner of Laurel Street and West 10th Avenue in Vancouver, B.C.
  2. Metered parking spaces are available outside the Jim Pattison Pavilion for patient pick-up and drop-off.
  3. Additional metered spaces for evenings and weekends are located in the inner courtyard north of 12th Avenue, with access off Heather Street.

Patients who can walk or use a wheelchair can be dropped off outside the ED doors, and patients with limited mobility can be brought in through the ED entrance. In both VGH parkades, wheelchair-accessible spaces are located by the elevators on levels 1, 2, 3 and 4. Metered spaces are available at street level of the Jim Pattison Pavilion (enter from 12th Avenue) and in the inner courtyard. Display your “Disabled” parking permit.

Pay parking is available in parkades at 12th Avenue and Laurel Street and near the Gordon and Leslie Diamond Health Care Centre at 12th Avenue and Oak Street. Additional parking options, including meters and lots, are within a few blocks. One-week passes for the VGH West 12th Avenue parkade can be purchased at pay stations. Free two-hour parking may be found between Oak and Granville streets (southwest of the hospital) and between West 12th and West 20th Avenues. Electric vehicle charging stations are available.
