  2. For Colposcopy: The procedure is best performed when you are not having your period. For 24 hours before the test, it is best to avoid sex, douching, using tampons, and using vaginal medications.
  3. For LEEP: The procedure is best performed when you are not having your period. For 24 hours prior to the test, it is best to avoid intercourse, douching, using tampons, and using vaginal medications.
