If you think you may have measles or if any of the following apply — traveled outside of Canada in the past 30 days, have fever, cough, runny nose, red/watery eyes, or a rash in the past 10 days, and have not received two (2) doses of the measles vaccine — DO NOT enter the hospital. Please call 613-525-2222 X4120 for instructions on what to do next.
  2. When checking into emergency, remember to bring: Proof of valid medical insurance (OHIP Card) and/or other, a list of all medications (including over-the-counter) and their containers, and any supplementary health records.
  3. Upon entering the emergency department, advise the triage nurse if you have an ARO (antibiotic resistant organism).
