Research Involvement

Dr. Evans established a research laboratory at UCI focusing on tissue engineering, regenerative medicine, and stem cell technology. Dr. Jaffurs is interested in research on the genetic causes of craniofacial abnormalities. Dr. Vyas leads grant-funded basic science, translational, and clinical research studies. Dr. Pfaff has over one hundred peer-reviewed publications and presentations and is involved in research on cleft and craniofacial outcomes, speech surgery outcomes, and quality improvement initiatives.
