Instructions

  1. DO NOT eat or drink anything after midnight the day before surgery
  2. Stop aspirin products or blood thinners 5 days prior to procedure (includes Aleve, Ibuprofen, Ecotrin, Celebrex, ALL Arthritis medications, Herbal Supplements, Fish Oil and Vitamin E)
  3. Patients taking Plavix, Coumadin, Xarelto, Eliquis or Pradaxa need to contact the prescribing doctor for instructions about discontinuing and resuming these medications
