For MRI of the Breast, schedule your exam between the 5th and 10th day after the first day of your last menstrual cycle.
If on hormone replacement therapy, you may be asked to stop taking it 6 weeks prior to your MRI exam with your physician’s approval.
Remove all metal objects before entering the magnet room for an MRI.

Getting Here

For MRI of the Breast, report to Admitting 30 minutes before your scheduled exam time.
Enter through patient services/admitting entrance, door number 17, from 5:30 a.m.
to 6 p.m.
