Instructions
- For MRI of the Breast, schedule your exam between the 5th and 10th day after the first day of your last menstrual cycle.
- If on hormone replacement therapy, you may be asked to stop taking it 6 weeks prior to your MRI exam with your physician’s approval.
- Remove all metal objects before entering the magnet room for an MRI.
Getting Here
- For MRI of the Breast, report to Admitting 30 minutes before your scheduled exam time.
- Enter through patient services/admitting entrance, door number 17, from 5:30 a.m.
- to 6 p.m.
