Instructions

  1. Talk to your physician about daily medications, especially for heart, diabetes, or blood pressure problems, and over-the-counter drugs including Aspirin or herbal preparations.
  2. Follow eating and drinking instructions provided by a nurse from the surgery center during your confirmation phone call.
  3. DO NOT smoke, chew tobacco, or consume alcohol 24 hours prior to surgery.
