Instructions

  1. Call (951) 252-9600 or (951) 766-6460 immediately for temperature of 100.5 or above.
  2. For nausea/vomiting, take Compazine 10 mg every 4-6 hours; if no relief, take Zofran 8mg every 8 hours for severe nausea. Increase fluids, consume small and frequent meals. Call if vomiting persists more than 24 hours or if unable to keep fluids down.
  3. For diarrhea, take Imodium 2 tablets with the first loose stool, then 1 tablet with every loose stool thereafter (not to exceed 8 tablets in 24 hours). Call if diarrhea continues. Drink plenty of fluids. Avoid spicy, greasy, and gas forming foods.
