Instructions

  1. A referral form from your doctor (General Practitioner or Specialist Physician) is required.
  2. For Abdomen, Pelvis or Whole Body scans, do not eat or drink for 4 hours prior to your exam.
  3. Inform staff if you have metal implants, pacemakers, aneurysm clips, cochlear implants, neuro-stimulators, steel surgical staples/clips, stents, valve replacements, implanted drug infusion devices, or any implant made partially or wholly of iron or steel.
