Dr. Kenman Gan is extensively involved with ophthalmology research. He has presented at national and international conferences, and his work has twice received the Canadian Ophthalmological Society’s Prize for Excellence in Research – 2nd place in 2009 and 1st place in 2010. He has received research awards from Fight for Sight, the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, the Alberta Heritage Foundation for Medical Research, and the Sigma Xi Scientific Research Society. Dr. Scott Williams has worked with the FDA studying the latest laser technology for approval.
