Instructions

  1. CT Scan: Do not eat or drink anything 6 hours prior to your procedure (NPO) if scheduled for an abdominal and or pelvic CT only. Pick up oral contrast from WNY MRI. Take first bottle two hours before procedure. Drink ⅔ of second bottle one hour before procedure, and bring remaining contents to appointment. Some blood work may be required.
  2. Fluoroscopy Esophogram: Do not eat or drink anything 12 hours prior to your procedure (NPO).
  3. Fluoroscopy Modified Barium Swallow: Do not eat or drink anything 12 hours prior to your procedure (NPO).
