UC Davis Student Health and Counseling Services provides student-centered integrated medical and mental health services, including acute care, primary care, specialty services, counseling, pharmacy, physical therapy, and eye care, for registered UC Davis students.

Instructions

  1. Bring your health insurance ID card and have your insurance information readily available.
  2. Bring your license plate information to the Information Desk at the SHWC Main Entrance for a virtual parking pass.
  3. Show up 15 minutes before your appointment to avoid no show fees.

Getting Here

  1. Medical Services are located on La Rue Road between Hutchison Drive and Blue Ridge Road, across the street from the Activities and Recreation Center (ARC) and next to the Colleges at La Rue.
  2. Counseling Services at North Hall is located in the center of the core campus, facing the east side of the quad, next to Dutton Hall and South Hall.
  3. Counseling Services at Cowell Building is on the Second Floor (North Wing) at 425 California Avenue, on the corner of Beckett Hall Circle and California Avenue.

Parking Information

Limited patient parking spots are available in Lot 35 for students being seen at Student Health and Counseling Services. A/C/L permit parking, day permit parking, and metered parking spots are also available in Lot 35 and in nearby lots. Limited visitor parking is available for students with scheduled appointments in Lot 15 at the Cowell Building.
