Instructions

  1. Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing for ultrasound exams.
  2. For some ultrasound exams, you may be asked not to eat or drink for up to 12 hours before your appointment.
  3. For some ultrasound exams, you may be asked to drink up to six glasses of water two hours prior to your exam and avoid urinating to ensure a full bladder.
