- For Pap smear accuracy, avoid douching, sexual intercourse, and vaginal hygiene products for at least two days before testing. Do not conduct a Pap smear when menstruating.
- To minimize morning sickness, keep food in the stomach at all times, eat frequent small meals and snacks, eat slowly, and drink between meals instead of with them. Eat a small protein snack before bed and nibble on soda crackers in the morning if nauseous.
